Coach Ward is entering his 6th year as the Head Boy’s Basketball Coach St. John Neumann Catholic High School. This year during the 2023-2024 season he coached the Celtics to back to back 15 win seasons, a first since 2005, their highest ever finish in the “Private 8 Conference Tournament”, their first District Championship since 2006, and their first FHSAA “Sweet 16” appearance since 2003! The Celtic basketball team’s success this year was recognized with Coach Ward being named the FACA 2A District Coach of the Year for the second year in a row. He was previously the Head Coach at LaBelle High School where he was awarded several Coach of the Year Awards. Coach Ward has been coaching high school basketball in SWFL since 2010 and has directed summer camps at each school he has coached at. He works hard to ensure that every camper has a great experience!
